Installation Steps:

- Set the boot order to boot from the USB drive or DVD.
- Start the Installation:
- When prompted, press any key to boot from the installation media.
- Select your language, time, and keyboard preferences, then click “Next.”
- Install Now:
- Click on “Install Now.”
- Enter your product key or select “I don’t have a product key” to proceed with a trial version.
- Select the Edition:
- Choose the edition you want to install (Standard or Datacenter, with or without Desktop Experience).
- License Agreement:
- Accept the license terms and click “Next.”
- Installation Type:
- Choose either “Upgrade” (if upgrading from a previous version) or “Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)” for a fresh installation.
- Select the Installation Drive:
- Choose the partition where you want to install Windows Server 2022. You can format or delete partitions as needed. Click “Next.”
- Installation Process:
- The installation will begin. This process may take some time, and the server may restart several times.
- Initial Configuration:
- After installation, set a password for the Administrator account.
- Log in with the Administrator account.
- Post-Installation Tasks:
- Configure network settings.
- Install updates via Windows Update.
- Install any necessary roles and features using Server Manager.
